The Blue Rooster Fire Resistant Deck Pad features a flexible, fire resistant design constructed of woven fiberglass material mounted to a tough latex rubber backing. Pad is UV and water resistant and rolls up for easy storage. Place this pad under your chiminea, outdoor fireplace, or grill to protect your decking or patio material from wayward sparks or embers. Not recommended for wood burning fire pits, cast iron chimineas, or short chimineas such as the Garden or Pine. If you are using any other fireplace then a Blue Rooster Company large cast aluminum chiminea or any cast iron chiminea we recommend putting a patio block or tile under your outdoor fireplace. The patio block or tile should be thick enough to insulate the pad from continuous heat.
