Not worth 66% more that the Silver
Weber has removed the thermometer and lid holder from this previously great grill. For the money buy the Silver model. The only difference now between the Silver and the Gold model is the hinged grill and ash holder, what a rip!

Puts luxury gas grills to shame!
i used this weber to grill corn, meat, and smoke all kinds of stuff. very attractive design and simple to clean catcher. i highly recommend it!

For charcoal grilling, the best!
This is our second Weber oven. The previous one lasted "only" 30 years. Love the product!
